Description

The SharkBite® 22604LF Push-to-Connect Brass Water Heater Installation Kit features two (2) 1/2″ x 3/4″ FPT universal female connectors and one (1) 1/2″ disconnect clip. These two-female connectors are designed to join piping together without the need of soldering, glue, tape, or clamps. As you insert the pipe into this push-to-connect fitting the stainless-steel teeth clamp down tightly while the built-in O-ring compresses ensuring a leak-free seal. If the female adapters need to be disconnected simply slip the disconnect tool behind the collet firmly and the fittings will disconnect. Unlike many plumbing connectors, SharkBite® fittings can be rotated after assembly to make installation quick and easy. This adapter is ideal for transitioning between PEX, copper, CPVC, PE-RT, or HDPE pipe to a MPT connection.
