Omnipure Q5548 Calcite Filter Cartridge – 10-Inch x 2.5-Inch for pH Correction

Description

The Omnipure Q5548 Calcite Filter is a 10″ combination in-line filter consisting of a coconut shell GAC and calcite. This filter can be used in many different applications for the purpose of correcting low pH levels. This post filter reduces sediment, bad taste, odor and chlorine. The Omnipure Q5548 increases pH levels by re-mineralization. The calcite is a mineral which dissolves in acidic water which will neutralize the pH.

Specifications:

• Filter Media: Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon Block with Calcite
• Calcite adds mineral and TDS back into the water as well as stabilizing the pH level of the water.
• Use Calcite only for pH levels 6.0 – 6.8. Use Calcite/Corosex for pH levels 5.5 – 6.0.

Note: Q-Series connection heads are available in valved and non-valved options with 1/4″ and 3/8″.
