If you’ve done even mild upgrades to your 6.7L Powerstroke, we recommend replacing your stock head bolts with head studs as solid preventative maintenance. These trucks are almost too easy to add exponential power to, meaning cylinder pressures can increase if other factors are not addressed, especially if you have a lead foot. The best means to prevent against head gasket(s) failure is by upgrading to a set of ARP’s 220,000 PSI Tensile Strength Head Studs. This kit comes complete, ready to install including heat-treated, chromoly steel 12-point nuts and washers.
