Allison recommends changing this spin on filter after initial 5,000 miles of use. Dmaxstore also recommends replacing these filters every 12,000 miles. Make sure to remove your filter magnet, clean and reinstall on your new filter. Approximately 1 pint of Transynd Synthetic fluid will be used for this change. Verify this fluid information on your transmission dipstick.
